Maybe because it's a badly run company nobody trusts anymore with a piss poor reputation.Or maybe it's just the market's.

"why should it just be the bankers, politicians and the idle rich who get all the best things ? we demand a standard of living for our members that enables them to share in the fine wines and times that the likes of Cameron and his Eton buddies take for granted " - the late great Bob Crow RIP.

There are 101 things that can influence the share price and "perhaps they have got wind its going to be a no vote", isn't one of them.

There's usually a lot of factors that drive the share price but on a trading day to day basis there is a lot of truth in 'buy the rumour, sell the news'.

It actually hit a 52 week low a few weeks ago and was one of the most heavily shorted stocks. A lot hinges on the companies ability to resolving this dispute. If it can get through those, the sky's really the limit.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Shareholder value got us into this fine mess! And rewarded the idle and feckless and incompetent at our expense!

And what are the CWU going to do about it? call strikes or just re ballot us? even if they call strikes you need two weeks notice and the mandate runs out 16th of August so you will need a new strike ballot with all the thresholds ie 50% turnout don't see it happening do you?
