Even after Postman posted proof that plan b isn't viable. You still have the simple caveman thinker's scratching their heads, trying to think of more reasons to vote No :d'oh!

I said right from the the start it would be fire and rehire. Nobody believed me.
Yet another reason to vote for the deal then.

Praying that an employment tribunal will save you from an imposed change of contract is not a plan B.

And no the CWU doesn't have to provide legal support, not if they don't believe your case has a reasonable chance of success.

Later starts would be an easy win for Royal Mail, removing the planes is a justified business change on both economic and environmental grounds.

Seasonal hours would be another easy win since they're not planning to change your pay structure at all.

At best you might buy some time but these proposals have been on the table a long time so I don't know how much more consultation you could ask for.

Sick absence and IHR would still be better than most companies so no tribunal is likely to even look at that as unfair.

Some individuals would have a case with their particular circumstances but the majority would get nowhere.

Most of the people that sit on these panels are pro-business Telegraph reading lawyers and judges and employment law is not like criminal law, it's just a collection of ever moving interpretations of the latest case precedent.

If this is genuinely all people have as an alternative to accepting the deal we really are struggling.

There is no plan B Woody. And you certainly won’t receive any coherent alternatives from those on here, who can barely string two sentences together when dishing out insults. I’m convinced that a good many who are voting no, just want to burn it all down at this point, which is a remarkable selfish decision, given that some of us want to continue working under the new deal, as we appreciate that it is still a decent job, well paid, with good conditions.

If you don’t want to work under these new conditions, vote yes, look for alternative employment, and then take the money and run. There will be plenty of people to replace you. Despite believing you are irreplaceable somehow. You aren’t.

Agreed there is no plan B and with the worsening economic conditions and the lack of growth in the delivery market as a whole the deal looks a bit more palatable.

I don’t think the deal is good I don’t think many on here would say it is but it’s the best we are going to get. Sadly the personal insults from a few on here has let this good forum down.

Utter nonsense
You either do not work in delivery
Or are too weak as you accept t&cs to be destroyed by a manipulative company and complicit union
Is it really too much to expect a person to be able to do a reasonable job and be well paid for it
This country has been going backwards over the last 20 years based on greed and power from the elite at the top and we have let it happen
We are bottom of the European major economies and structures due to this
We have the worst union laws
We have forgotten how to fight for our rights
We expect to be downtrodden and to put up with it
And for people to say it’s the best we can get is laughable and pitiful
Throw a few crumbs and keep the plebs in order
Rinse and repeat
The pay offer is shite , last years 2% imposed amount was derisory compared to financial climate and inflation
It’s all about reducing us to min wage
And the so called 10% over 3 years will be nowhere near able to cover costs and increases
T&c we have fought for over years being destroyed by our own hand the CWU
I will always fight to better myself and others
The amount of people off sick with depression stress anxiety sums this company up
And some still accept or can’t see why

We are well paid though. Go and look at alternative employment for similar skill sets and you might be in for a shock. Unless you have training or qualifications then you aren’t going to be making this money in other unskilled industries.

It’s a real terms 3.3% pay increase they have settled for in exchange for slashing terms and working conditions and they hope a couple of weeks pay from the pension account will buy them enough votes.

HansSolo you are bang on ,working on Delivery is shite NOW nevermind the impending changes!

Inflation is Rocketing ,yes 6% pay increase will soften the impact but 10% pay over 3 years is an insult when in reality we are facing 25% inflation in total.

Furthermore, when we are walking 6 hr deliveries what sort of impact will that have on our health?
More time off work with no pay?

This is the future.
Use your vote wisely people.

That will be the same unskilled workforce among others who carried the country during covid while others lay on their sunloungers getting pished everyday
f**k off and grow a set
McDonald’s workers earn the same as us now

If McDonald's is the best example you could find, then it proves Lou's point. I've known many people who've worked in McDonald's & most hated it because always on your feet in a small space because of constant order's.

& your exaggerating our efforts during covid. As important as it was, we pushed kit's through door's. it wasn't some heroic, selfless act your making it out to be. The selfless people were medical staff.
