Finishing the shift later and only being paid any overtime according to SISO on top of revisions that have made walks bigger.
Sounds like a perfect recipe for more walk failures to me

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I think the best thing to do if you are pulled up is to ask to be tested. If you do the job by the book, bar the lightest day on my delivery, you have no chance of completion.Ive been leaving mail for years now. never had no comeback. In fact had more grief from other posties who cut all the corners and like to be snide, than managers. Guess my managers have generally been o.k. Though im long in the tooth now and, lets just say im happy to explain my position. Cant wait to leave, if im honest

If there is one thing that needs to be digested from the last 12 months it's what agreements actually say........RM didn't "rip up" any agreement, it is very clear now that they were able to "walk away" from the agreement and that was allowed under the clause which stated that they could if there was national IA. Ironically they used the agreement to remove themselves from it. If you genuinely think they "ripped it up" why haven't the CWU gone to court on what was hailed as a legally binding agreement when it was signed originally? Perhaps it's because the union know it was an own goal?adamanti wrote: ↑20 Jun 2023, 19:21RM ripped up all agreement's, nothing is as it was. Personally as this is the same in our area I enjoying the fallout. People telling them to stuff it, dozens of walk's not going out. Yes it means double mail but hey we just brought back what we couldn't do and walked out bang on time.

Oh come on. Ghosting is wrong.
There's nothing wrong with being paid your exact hours. Agree with your manager in advance how much work you are doing on O/T,not how much time
This is the least of our worries.
