National rep/com call today

Our bosses came out of the zoom call today saying no way are they putting walks back in,you couldn't make it up the union are having their pants pulled down right in front of our faces and the tools are still trying to get us to vote yes saying they are back in the workplace,will they ever get out of that yellow skin and fight or just shrink into history,the next few weeks will be interesting ,i wonder what questions they will filter out tomorrow,i wont be watching cos im voting NO !!!!!

The worst thing that is coming, and I doubt we cannot stop it is the plan to remove frames and have the mail pre-sorted by machine. We won't be indoors as much soon. Even more time will be spent outside destroying our bodies, walking 14 miles+ a day. This will be far too much. The job is exhausting as it is now. This will likely come in and people will be dropping like flies when that time comes.

Is that the bench-merging thing? They trialled it a while back and the fact that they are still keen on it means it will probably come in eventually. Not sure how it would work when you get a load of packets in a shroud to organise with it. I guess it will just be a case of flicking through a tray and marking them off. But I can see many potential issues if mail doesn't get delivered that day.

Based on the fact I think the UK will fall into recession now..... I don't think we'll get a better offer on pay if we vote no. It's highly likely we'd be offered less money, whether that's for less change - who knows.

I now think the best option is to vote YES, the company has gone to the dogs anyway. I can see myself leaving within 2 years.

I totally agree this agreement is terrible what i plan to do is vote yes for it and use the time the union has given us march 2024 to see if i can find a better job if not i will stay until that happens dave ward has made the situation crystal clear striking for a better deal is a waste of time , the feeling i am getting at the office i work at is the same.

So why not vote no and still look for another job.?

The cwu have shat the bed after RM threatend to stop collecting subs and refuse release to cwu reps .
