There is nothing "Green" about Royal Mail. It's not Green to build new SuperHubs, it's not Green to drive old clapped out vans, it's not Green to produce and deliver menu's and flyers, that incidentally take priority over mail. It's not Green to leave two p739.

Bicycle's were Green.
I'll agree, bicycle's were green in delivering letters and flats. The majority of what we deliver are now packets/parcels.
50 postmen on bikes is greener than one high top full of packets/parcels, but the cost is greater.
Everything is about money when it comes to the green agenda.

:hmmmm is it greener to have hundreds of thousands of posties across the country contributing to rush hour traffic??

I don’t think so

If it’s only 5% of mail transported by air then the much greener solution is to get an extension on the time window for that mail

The government would probably be on board because they need to look like they’re being proactive in decreasing the carbon footprint

Giving up the am delivery period makes no business sense and just leaves a huge gap for our competitors to fill

It’s a no vote from me
