I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Cannot see for the life of me why all this green crap when your going to be contributing to it with the regular commute and later deliveries this whole thing run once on a time by trains and still was able to be done. And yet we have a union as apologists of the change we fought against backing up the managements green agender that we will all pay for as we all cannot afford EV Polestars like the CEO of the company. This is a very shocking thing that we are now to poor to work and cannot afford the commute each day with all the green taxes and Ulez and town taxes for parking or just living. This is a damming indictment of the society we live in and until someone grasps the nettle and cuts it down the future is zero work zero living standards and zero future for anyone in this nation!

It takes a lot of energy getting rare earth metals out of the ground which can at best do 8 to 10 years before they need recycling which we don't do at the moment nor can we power all the EV's or have the infrastructure where it is needed! We need better solutions and it might be hydrogen fuels or synthetic fuels or a mixture of all. This still needs electric generation of which the cleanest is nuclear fission but nuclear fusion could be a better option but we have not mastered it yet!

Honestly, at this point whether it's the union's propaganda or the company's propaganda - I'm ignoring it all. There's nothing more I need to know.
