Lib Dems "fighting" New Labour PO Closures

Sharp eyed constituents of the Rt. Hon MP Ed Davey were baffled by the photo on the front of the Kingston Informer , showing their main man supporting five local Post Offices threatened with closure along with Lib Dem Mayoral Candidate Brian Paddick .

Unfortunately nobody recognised that PO , it certainly wasn't in Kingston or Surbiton and it certainly wasn't in Brent despite it cropping up on Lib Dem MP Sarah Teather's web site who was pictured with Paddick as she vowed to lead the good fight against New Labour's PO closures in Brent .

Nor was it in Harringey but that wasn't good reason to stop Lib Dem MP Lynne Featherstone and Councillor Monica Whtye posing in front of it .

Apparently our intrepid Lib Dems formed an orderly queue to be snapped at London Bridge PO , not a million miles away from the Palace of Westminster which incidentally has no less than three Post Offices .

In the interests of fairness Richmond Park MP Susan Kramer appeared to have been urged to pose by a PO on that very same day but at least she managed to find a open PO in her own constituency .
