They can send the late specials out with the LAT man and the managers can sort the late arrival mail. I can see their plan being to slash collection duties and have the bulk of these put on delivery staff hence the later duty times.
It'll be interesting to see how they plan on doing the staffing for the last 5% as our early shift has effectively been axed, most are now supernumerary. If the supernumerary staff in MCs are indeed about to be re-deployed then the last 5% will just be failed and rolled over to the next day, SDs and Tracked as well. Also who do they plan on sorting any LATs that aren't being cross docked so the LAT offices when our early shift has been decimated. Those that remain will be concentrating on 2C/T48 and later DSA (I have my doubts as if there will be enough staff for that)
Its no not only Later starts / Finishing times in DO,s , MC Duties will also be affected
If your final arrival is going to be put back by 2Hrs , this will no doubt effect your Night Shift Hour,s

They'll have to put back the processing of DSA, that of 2C/T48 (and it's dispatch) by the same amount of time, otherwise the processing of the last 5% will have to wait for the 2C/T48 and DSA to be processed
