£ 900 - CWU, Why?

Post by 11aaa222 »

Yes that is £900 for all employees! ALSO managers - so the cwu seem to have negotiated £900 for the managers too, who have had a 4 figure bonus last year, a recognition payment in September of a £1000, £500 quid recognition payment this year due to be paid this summer plus the revision bonuses to implement the new revisions!, plus all the shopping vouchers through the shine programme for breaking the strike

And now we have the CWU fighting and negotiating only for them to get the £900 quid as well! Fuming!

WELL DONE CWU :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

Why oh why have the CWU done this for all employees?

I don't see unite CMA fighting and negotiating an award for CWU grades?

Don't you thin management grade have had enough 'bonus' or recognition payments over the last 18 months, and potentially now due to get at least 2 more over the next few months?

Managers which were in the scheme do get the lump sum as the trustees and pension regulator would only sign off this sum if it applied to all grades which the pension scheme covered.

It does not cover senior managers.

Best thing for flexible people to do is vote yes, take the bonus & leave. Others who are in a situation where it will be too hard find or can't find another job should vote no. Anyone thinking job can't be saved though is clutching at straws. 4:30pm finish time's. They're having a laugh with that.

I've been banging on about it since last year that it's gonna happen sooner or later. Didn't think they would push the 4:30 finish in so quickly but here we are.

The union knew it was unavoidable & they can only do so much, that's why they gave in. Part of me actually wants a no vote to be the outcome, just to see what Rm's next move would be but RM will find some way to worm themselves out of a no vote. Probably play the administration card again.

Im not defending the union, I just think people should realize that maybe the union just don't have the power to stop RM pushing all these things through. Simple minded people see things as black & white when in fact it's complicated.

I could be wrong, the way I see it. The union did try hard to stop RM ruining the job. RM threatened administration & the whole game changed from there.

RM will survive in some form or another. A lot of people will leave be replaced by agency who won’t sign up with union, union will go under in RM……….very sad state of affairs!

So It must be about 100 million if my calculator is right , i dont understand this bribe wasnt offered earlier but hopefully still no, not even a nod towards the sick or IHR, i would rather this " get out of jail card" money was given ti those people leaving on ill health on reduced terms .
Some managers will be creaming this .

This s**t gets more ridiculous by the minute, Managers getting it ffs but senior ones don't because they are already overpaid for what they do.

I can understand it they were part of the pension scheme and thus could claim part of this as they were in it. It is an escrow account ie here: https://www.escrow.com/what-is-an-escrow-account Thing is just another bung to get a bad deal over the line!
