I think the changes are coming in regardless of a no vote. The union got what they wanted for reps to be involved realignment and they have that now. Although I expect to see yes vote passed, but it will be interesting to see how many vote No considering the negative feedback on social.

Can someone explain these finish times please ,summer and winter?
I've just looked up my DO and it says a maximum of 60 mins and then underneath a maximum of 90 mins (last letter 4.30).
So is this the summer times up til 4.30 or is this all year round now? I thought there were seasonal times or is this scrapped now?

It's the change to your current attendance time on a Wednesday.

So if your start at 6 on Weds, you will now start at 7.30. With seasonal hours in the new agreement, that will be 7am in winter and 8am in summer.

If its a heavy day your finish time can also be extended by 30 mins to 5pm on managers orders.

The need for the CWU to work with RM.

How about working for the people that pay you.
You have lost this trust.

No vote.

As far as I was aware, our office was going to be finishing 30 minutes later at worst..... now I've seen the announcement.... it's been changed to '4.30pm - last letter' - so that's basically a 5pm finish....

They can bugga off!

- Working through the heat of the day. It's bad enough now in these vans with no air conditioning that they make us work in.

- Working in the dark in winter will lead to more accidents and less efficiency.

- Driving home in rush hour.

I have gone from a yes vote to a no vote!

£1400 of which £900 is our own pension money gee thanks CWU! So after tax that's around £900 take home when I lost £1800 striking hmmm awesome! Terms and conditions still all bad for the workforce and good for management!

Vote how you like but personally I think anybody would be nuts to vote yes to this stitch up?

Voting NO! :speak to the hand
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

AHH ok. So my current finish times are 14.30 every day except Saturday which is 14.00 then would this finish time still be later in the summer months and later still in the winter months? Basically Is the 4.30pm finish the winter months finish?

I left Royal Mail last month, but I still have my pension with them. Why are using my money to pay "bribe" ? Once they start take money from our Pension Pot, we can never stop them. That Stinks

They aren't....it's an escrow fund and nothing to do with payments we have made.

Game over. This has confirmed a yes vote if it was ever in doubt. The union has played a blinder by securing a bigger lump sum.

The bigger lump sum will surely get this over the line and for many starting an hour later probably won’t be a big deal.

My prediction is a 70% yes vote. What’s wrong with grabbing the money then looking for another job? That what I suspect a lot will do.
