So hopefully soon we will get the chance to finally throw out the latest s**t deal.... then what?
You have been told countless times on here what will happen in the event of a no-vote result. If you think that somehow it will result in a better deal then you are just not listening at this point.
So we only get the gospel truth on here .
I think not .
If it's a no vote the the union have no choice but to get back in the room and really is that simple .
I'm don't care about the s**t pay rise but I do care about my t&C's and the extra 1.30hr out door work that's hidden within the agreement, that most people haven't read from start to finish so won't realise what's about to hit them if the listen to folk like yourself .
Remove the attacks on our t&C's then we may get somewhere ,but I'm not holding my breath on this as the cwu have shown us who they really are in bed with and it's not it's members.
Still voting no

I can understand not believing Royal Mail, but why are you doubting what the CWU are telling you? What evidence do you have to back up your claim? I get it, we exist in a world now, where people believe everything is a conspiracy, but the facts have been laid out clearly before you, especially so on here.

And again, how does voting no prevent anything you are (rightly) worried about being forced through regardless, and then some? Having no agreement in place doesn’t prevent RM from instigating the change necessary required to turn around the company’s finances. It leaves us all exposed to even more attacks on our T&Cs not less. As I’ve said multiple times now, the deal is bad, but not having an agreement will be worse and will not stop us being hit by change. It is coming regardless. Better to have at least some control of it.

I understand people voting no out of anger or under protest, but ultimately you are spiting yourself as RM will not give a toss. Think rationally about what is best for you.

Bullshit! If RM were taking any notice of the CWU there wouldn't be so many f****d up revisions around the country

And what about the next agreement in a couple of years time ? Same again, more erosion of t&cs , where does it end ? If you roll over now and accept this , it’s just the start.

Woody came on yesterday and stated there would be comms today.
So let's see what they come out with later.
The agreement won't have changed; it will just be some vague joint statement.
Possibly another small bribe to get it over the line.
The deal is appalling, I think we can all agree on that.
The merits of voting either way we could argue forever.
It will be voted in imo as most folks have likely had enough.
But, please, can we stop the petty point scoring, its getting tiresome.

Voting no is best for me and rational.i don't trust the cwu anymore .
I been told by 2 pec members the reason for this sell out
See another thread I posted on not got the time to look it up now.
So we vote yes and end up with nothing because what they ain't getting this time they will be back in 2025 for the rest and cwu as it stands now won't stop them .
So it no now ..with a chance to save t&CS ,not a vote yes then cry like a baby when you find out powerless cwu can't do a thing to stop the rest of our t&C's disappearing .

Don’t hold your breath for anything substantial being announced today. A joint statement is not worth the paper it’s written on. A joint statement is not legally binding and can not be enforced, it’s all just theatre and appearances for us plebs so we will vote this sell out sham of an agreement in.
I’m looking forward to any CWU live video that may come though because they are f***ing hilarious albeit for all the wrong reasons.

Im voting yes only because im out of this shithole in a few yrs would have stayed longer but the lack of union fight which is obvious with the deal they have struck even after a 96% yes vote says to me this job wont be worth the hassle in few yrs so i would advise everyone to put plans in place to leave

Then the union will have to come up with another plan .
Cwu put themselves in this position..
They shouldn't be fecking over members so they can stay powerless in the workplace .

You have got to just vote on what is put in front of you .
And at the moment what is in front of you is a pathetic sell out agreement and unless there are big changes to it I am voting no .
