I don't think RM has to even recognise the them after October as they gave them 12 month notice on alot of the previous protection agreement. That's why am sure this will be done b4 then.

They take away the equivalent of 5% pay through not going ahead with the reduction of hours to 35. Basically ended up with a 1% increase per year for the last 4 years terrible. Like Most ppl just want the ballot out so we can get this over with.

The 6% Deal should just be implemented by all parties to end this charade, and include the Lump Sum of £1500 to all postal workers.

This should be done as soon as possible, because the union has already accepted the deal on behalf of us, so there is no further need for a needless ballot.

The vast majority of postal workers do not want any more strike action, and just want to receive the 6% pay rise and £1500 Lump Sum Payment., and get on with their careers and lives again.

Tuffnells just gone under with 2000 jobs lost.
It's the right time to get this deal implemented for all parties concerned.
Indeed !!

Im sure the union are in cahoots with them ,the longer this is going on more and more posties are jumping ship, this is what they want to get rid of people for free new entrants on new contracts and more people going to vote yes and more people enlisted into the union to preserve their high salaries.

That plan only works of the newbies join the union, If they don't it's likely going to result in an even larger no vote

I wasn’t aware Tuffnells had gone into administration I wouldn’t think it would be the last parcel firm to go bust either.

Nothing clever about allowing executive action, agreeing to bigger duties, a crap pay deal, seeing 10 thousand leave without correct redundancy payment (2 yrs pay) agreeing to keep agency labour working way past Christmas. Only bonus is Wardy staying on his 100 grand wage and (soon) being the new face of Walkers crisps.

Let's hope not. Walkers crisps have been ripped apart by the greedy men. Everything is contracted out.

World wars were resolved quicker. Maybe we can get a football out at Christmas time . Managers v Postmen. All quiet on the western front. Still talking.

We could just stick Ward in goal - that ensures a clean sheet - £100K buys a lot of doughnuts obviously
