Age 55 ?
Been paying in pension since june 1996, started off on 31 1/2 hours per week , approx been full time now for 10 years plus, im 55 in 4 years and want to take a lump sum and monthly pension , any idea on what I'll get talked to many colleagues who have received many varying figures, i just want a rough idea .

Take the figures from your last statements and reduce by 5% for every year you take it early. Simple enough.

Also remember that if you continue to work for RM after taking your pension, you won’t get the pensions supplement. Still use the 5% reduction per year rule but don’t include the supplement

It's also worth mentioning that if you're still working, you'll probably be paying income tax on your pension income too.
