Trust & Confidence?

Post by Surfpostie »

Ask yourself have I got trust & confidence in Royal Mail? Then same again have I got trust & confidence in the CWU? I myself have no trust or confidence in the current leadership with both RM or CWU. I have always been 100% behind the CWU,but no longer. Sat in the canteen with the guys at break time ,I’ve never known a feeling of total disillusionment that everyone feels about the CWU. Even the rep(who is brilliant)is totally peed off! The other thing is how much did we all lose financially, holidays etc,& for what? At the end of the day what are our options? Also quick head count in my office is a massive NO vote,if we ever get to vote!

I’m intrigued to know where we go from here , I honestly think this agreement is dead in the water , Royal Mail are not budging on the shop floor despite the CWU pulling the ballot . What happens next is anyone’s guess .

The cwu have been totally out foxed by the r.m board. Is it because they brought in union busting companies / lawyers to basically destroy the union & our will to put up a fight ? It does seem so. With the money coming in from subs surely we can employ people who can fight our corner because r.m. Seem to be able to do what they like even if agreements are made.

it will be a yes vote majority and the CWU have done fine in my eyes.... apart from taking forever to let most of us to vote yes and move on from all this back and forth.

If the CWU have done fine in your eyes then you should have gone to specsavers ,
The CWU have been pathetic in agreeing to the sell out deal which they will not let us vote on yet .
