GIVE US OUR VOTE
Give us our vote now !!!! there is no reason to stall, the agreement is all written and you sold us out now let us have our say,the union is supposed to be democratic but it is acting like a communist party by not letting us have our say, just a point of law every member is in their right to sue for compensation if the union are found to have given you negligent representation and in my opinion they are doing exactly that by not letting us vote.

Have I got this right, every week without a 6% pay rise RM save £2 million. No wonder they don't want a deal

Re: GIVE US OUR VOTE
The delay is because they are trying to get a bigger lump sum out of RM. Would you rather vote now and take the £500 lump or wait for a bigger lump?

Re: GIVE US OUR VOTE
Why do they want to back on the agreement they have consented? It shows bad faith or poor judgement; in fact, both!Clappedoutpostie wrote: ↑08 Jun 2023, 11:52The delay is because they are trying to get a bigger lump sum out of RM. They could have gone for the £1500 lump sum and negotiate for a 3% pay rise now and then 6 later... Either way, RM has probably gone as far they wanted - which is actually not much farther than the original 3.5% and then 1.5% over 2 years plus £500 for revision; which was imposed anyways. All the above could have secured with no loss of wages and payments from April 2022.
* And we could now have started negotiations for 2024 onwards...
The delay is stupid and the silence after the fanfare of the impending Joint Statement Zoom Calls involving all Reps and Managers; is just not taking members seriously...
And Simon is not even involved anymore - no bogeyman or fall guy to blame but the Union!

Re: GIVE US OUR VOTE
The proposed 'agreement' is extended to include the 2% pay rise from Apr 2024 - Apr 2025.
It'll be Summer/Autumn 2025 before CWU and/or RM can get their acts together to put together anything for
FY 25/26.
