Well that was helpful, we know so much more now.

If you haven't got anything worthwhile to say it's probably best to STFU

Still enjoying the Ann Summerd adverts. One of my customers gets regular parcels from them and often leans out of her bedroom window to tell me to leave the parcel by the door. I love her.

I hope you tell her that you need a picture with the door open?

Sounds like the start of something to me, wouldn't be surprised if you get invited in to see her collection :chuckle

I am witnessing first hand the work Dave Ward, Andy Furey, the executive etc are putting in. I promise you, if you saw that you wouldn’t doubt the commitment, courage or strength of your union.

Chris Webb

I am witnessing first hand the capitulation and self-destruction of the CWU and the only thing I don't doubt is indecision, broken promises and their reasons for voting yes for this agreement are completely nugatory; they don't change the fact that posties are likely to head down the road worse off than before.

A keyboard warrior usually says things online that he wouldn't say to someone's face. Whereas I tend to do both.

Ward and Furey have agreed for members to move onto SSP that's the bottom line. They are actually fine (hence they agreed and promoting a yes vote) with it. All this nonsense about "it's the best deal we could get" may well be the case but they should never ever have agreed to SSP for members and ultimately IMHO will cost them both their positions as the membership will not forget that

This industrial action by the postal workers has unfortunately turned into the biggest strike disaster since the Miner's disastrous strikes in 1984.

For the Love of God, posties have to come to their senses and accept the decent pay increase on offer and the £1,500 lump sum, before it is withdrawn and a pay settlement of less is imposed on them by Royal Mail :no no

What we are witnessing just now is stalemate and inertia on a grand scale, which is causing thousands of postal workers to leave the Company, and many others no doubt will be culled in the future by Royal Mail.

It's postal workers commititng hari kari on an epic scale, while the rest of Britain sits back and watches with astonishement and horror, as the once mighty and proud Royal Mail, descends into anarchy, self flaggelation, and ultimately self destruction.

You couldn't make this s*** up :cuppa
