This is why RM are happy for it to drag on. They are saving a mint only paying 2% last year, nothing backdated and nothing yet this year.and that probably won't be backdated either
Saving a mint? Did you see the recent financial results for the year?
Yeah we all saw what they wanted us to see get a grip man.A 10% pay cut from top 4 tiers of royal mail high up's would sort that in a jiffy.Read what williams said to the board in another post they aint struggling like there making out.And even if they were tough sh@t its not our fault.Stop wasting money on rmtv slider tools sending 4 late tracked on one yorkie in a 7.5 tonne lorry 70 mile round trip to my office after we have left the office or just as bad 9am special for a rural sent out early take 30 mins to get to 30 mins back so 1hr wage for driver the fuel wear n tare all the mail left just for one letter...ffs

Or having to take out a SG Saturday special to a business knowing full well that it's shut on Saturdays

We don’t take them out if we know the business is closed on a Saturday. It’s retained until Monday. How daft is it that someone will pay the SG premium, they should find out if the business will be open first. :d'oh!

You are right. It isn’t our fault but you can bet it will be us who suffer so you should care about the financial status of the company that employs you.

This is what happens when you reject a decent pay settlement negotiated by our CWU union.
Royal Mail then have no choice in the matter, but to set the pay rise themselves.

We haven't rejected anything,we haven't had the chance thanks to our useless union.

Hope they do, least we'd have some financial recognition for all the changes forced in already!

Look we all know the changes are going to happen in someway so please can we just have our long overdue rise now please?
100% agree. I really don't care what comes in, just need a pay rise. My 33 hour contract isn't cutting it, and changes are all coming in anyway. At this rate all the changes will be forced in and we won't get any pay rise as the union are stalling. In my office the revision has been in for almost 2 years, and nothing has changed. I actually like the unachievable revisions, as it means more overtime opportunities. Before the revision, you'd be lucky to get any day off overtime at all.
Pathetic. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh
