IHR Lump Sum Payment / Unused annual leave

I finished on IHR on Saturday the 27th

Looks like today I have recieved my IHR lump sum payment of 34 weeks pay + 9 weeks Pay In Lieu of Notice.

However it looks like they haven't included my unused annual leave, does this get paid at a later date?

When someone at our place got ihr (this was about 8 years ago though, others have gone since but I didn't know them well enough to know their circumstances), they got their unused leave including carried over from the previous year, it was taxed/ni, I wonder if it's down to the comdom to tell hr even though they should be able to check on the psp.

The holiday pay owed is paid separate. Usually the week after, if the Dom puts it through in time.

Annual leave is accrued rather than given for a whole year. At a rough estimate, you would be entitled to 2 months accrual or 1/6th of your annual entitlement - about a week if you have done 20 years so unless you haven't taken any leave, I wouldn't expect a lot.

Although perhaps I may get some tax back as i'll be going onto contributions based ESA.

Same boat here. I left on 6th may and still waiting on holiday pay from last year and my money I paid for a few weeks this year as I paid for upto 6 weeks holiday so have about 5 weeks at £8 per week paid from April.

when i got my ihr money there was no accrued holiday,i just think they hope you will not worry and go away,chase it with youre manager and if that doesnt work with HR,youre entitled to it and will get it.

Pension is not always paid with IHR.

Getting pension early with IHR is only possible if the OH GP deems you unable to do any form of work for any employer ever again.

OH Assist offered me the option of lump sum or income support for 3 years. They said lump sum was best option incase I can work again, even though I know I probably won’t be able to work again. To late now to change my mind but pensions are sending out paper work for me to fill in and send back with my doctor reports to see if the trustees will still release my pension just now. I’m 49.

It's your line manager that sorts your outstanding annual leave payment. Should ask you for your start date so have that to hand. Don't take any bull mate. Good luck
