Re: Revision review
I don't see one at mine either but you'd do well to find any revision reviews anywhere. It's all talk, a bit like CWUs approach.

Re: Revision review
We have had to change the lapsed walks every so often due to too many customer complaints about not getting mail delivered.
Line manager today said nothing is being reviewed and lapsed frames will be absorbed to our own walks soon. Said they. like us have been told from above if dont like it, leave

Re: Revision review
Already happened here. 70 to 120 calls added to our frames from lapsed duties. More mail to throw off more D2Ds to be prepped and more parcels to do every day. Vote No .dazzler123 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 16:22We have had to change the lapsed walks every so often due to too many customer complaints about not getting mail delivered.

Re: Revision review
Do you seriously think RM will review the revisions if they get a No vote?scoobydo79 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 16:37Already happened here. 70 to 120 calls added to our frames from lapsed duties. Re: Revision review
Yes or no, wont matter.
No revisions will be reviewed.
Its all about getting the hours out on the race to the bottom.
And the £500 is just payment in lieu for working longer this winter.
Jobs f****d either way, vote as you wish

What does loops of mail mean....is it like a bundle or a street?dazzler123 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 17:40Worked with an agency guy today, nice guy but not up to speed with the enviroment we are working in. Went over our time approx about an hour today. Delivered 2 loops of mail

Re: Revision review
loop = bag approx 30 mins duration away from the van and back to the van. Might be different around the country. For us:X_hamster wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 17:53What does loops of mail mean....is it like a bundle or a street?dazzler123 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 17:40Worked with an agency guy today, nice guy but not up to speed with the enviroment we are working in. 1 van, 2 workers
2 frames, approx 6 loops each frame
plus a loop each extra for lapsing. Left the office to start delivery today at 10.50am working with agency guy
So out of 14 loops/bags of mail to deliver, 2 were delivered today. all parcels delivered

Re: Revision review
Park and loop, two posties in a van park halfway along a street both get out and do a "loop" in opposite directions then meet up back at the van, sorry if that's teaching you to suck eggs as the saying goes, so basically a loop could be between say 10 minutes to half an hour depending on how you prefer working, some of our shared duties only have 4 loops but others have up to 10 after the duty holders have tweaked them accordingly.X_hamster wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 17:53What does loops of mail mean....is it like a bundle or a street?dazzler123 wrote: ↑02 Jun 2023, 17:40Worked with an agency guy today, nice guy but not up to speed with the enviroment we are working in.
