"There's just no reason to delay. We're absolutely committed to the agreement, every aspect of it,...."

I bet they are as it's a lot better for management than it is for the workforce!
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

so if the walks are too big work your hours and bring back what you are unable to deliver the managers are paid the big bucks to manage i really do understand the problem i want the payrise the changes are happening which ever way you vote.
The managers aren't paid "big bucks" in reality.
Their wage isn't vastly more than yours.
Yes, they abandoned their strike for £1.500
Funny that seems to be the RM bribe.

Anyway Gaffers are all happy bunnies now they settled and have nothing to complain about.

We so far have not taken the bribe.

If you are someone who is a good communicator and are logical then it can't be that hard a job. Most of it is paperwork and telling people what to do. It does not compare physically to the job us posties do.

The sad thing about it is that, from my experiences dealing with them, to be a manager you also need to have no morals and like to control and bully people.

Alongside being logical, if it doesn't fit then you have to push and push to make it fit. ie. harass posties by making out they are too slow when you know full well the job is too big.

They get paid around £34,000 with a potential £3,400 bonus. It's a decent chunk more than us.

Aren't COM's on 40k plus?

Agree with you there ted, failure is constantly and excessively rewarded.

Now they are all 30-40 minutes too long on average.
So if you were out 30 - 40 minutes earlier they would be achievable?
How much time do they want to take off of indoor work?
Your a lucky one mine is 1hr 45 too long
