Yeh how little care the union have in moving pt's up to ft's is disgusting. Many of us done well over full time hours for years, yet get pro rata payments and less delivery supplement/pension etc. Like they don't seem to care about us. Many full timers won't go a minute over for royal mail either. I don't blame them, but many part timers work their balls off and never get made up.

They've just gone on live and said "we can't accept the narrative that it's the worker's fault and they need to work harder," but yet still endorse this agreement that literally makes them work harder in the busiest time of year for nothing plus the Flexi
Also, said the pressure is now on RM to come back to them now. Okayyy, you tell me how pressure is on them when you've not even given them a deadline to sort these revisions out? They really just don't know what to do now.

The s**t revisions will not be altered... RM just said as much. They're here to stay.Shadedpostie wrote: ↑25 May 2023, 11:15They've just gone on live and said "we can't accept the narrative that it's the worker's fault and they need to work harder," but yet still endorse this agreement that literally makes them work harder in the busiest time of year for nothing plus the FlexiAlso, said the pressure is now on RM to come back to them now. No back pay to April, the pay rise starts when the agreement is voted in. Confirmed by our area manager.

At this rate, I doubt there'll be a payrise this year. Union have zero power at this point. I'm not striking anymore, after this shambles and losing more money, so don't see a good outcome anymore.

Royal mail keep you part time so you have to work extra to make ends meet.
Had part time workers refused to do that many more of them would have had their hours increased.
To late in the day now though.

Nailed it.Clappedoutpostie wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 22:19Call me cynical but I think by the end of next week we will get another update plus news of the extra £1000 lump sum and the ballot will be on again. The CWU save face and look like hero’s.
Cards on the table time. We are being asked to give up a lot of terms and conditions for £500. Not a chance that will cut it.
£1500...there is a chance it will get voted in.

a pt with 10yrs service who works 0hrs overtime will get offered it before a pt with 9yrs service who does 20hrs
