The overwhelming feedback from our local reps was based around the treatment of members on the ground, failed revisions, the destruction of the USO and the lack of trust. On that basis we are putting the challenge to Royal Mail now - sort it or the ballot doesn’t go out to vote. This is something every member should get behind as the current issues need to be sorted then you’ll get your democratic vote.

Re: And it's off
I smell the whiff of panic from our glorious union leaders , they suspect, probably quite rightly that the result will be a “no”, therefore they desperately looked for a way out and found a ready made one. That’s why you ain’t getting a vote ,at least not for now.

I don't get this forum....
One minute it's - 'VOTE NO - THIS IS THE START OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS DETERIORATING!'
Next minute it's - 'NOOOOOOO CWU!!!! WOT R U DOING TRYING TO REVERSE THE REVISIONS!'
Which is it? you either go with the changes or you don't.

By the sounds of it, the vast majority of walks throughout the country consist of 'FAILED REVISIONS'....1. In line with section 2.5 of the agreement (Improving Quality of Service and USO Compliance), immediate measures must be agreed to restore quality of service and genuinely review all failed revisions.
Our whole office of 100+ walks are now impossible to deliver within our contracted hours and most people finish on time, cutting off.
So good luck getting them to reverse everything they have done. I will be shocked if they reverse everything, especially as it must be saving them a tonne of money in wages. Sooner or later Ofcom will catch up with them, but the fines Ofcom hand out need to be substantial to force Royal Mail to reverse the revisions + employ the correct number of staff.

What the leadership is saying Norris, is that they still back this s**t deal.
However Royal Mail managers are not sticking to the terms of this s**t deal they have agreed.
So the Leadership are saying give us this s**t deal or....or we're not 'aving it. We want a s**t deal to ballot our members on.

For f***s sake, either call a strike or the whole f***ing lot of them need to resign. OFCOM need to go as well, f***ing useless, they should have cracked down on RM failing the USO ages ago. The board of RM need to go as well, failing the USO for so long and understaffing so many offices

People calling for strike are deluded. We’re entering the quieter part of the year. Strikes didn’t seem to do much last year (even at peak period) and no way would the strikes be as strong this time round.
Hit ‘em from the inside now. Do what you can within your hours and CUT OFF. Take breaks and tell the muppets who come in early to stop.

That won't make any difference, they've been understaffing offices for a long time now. they'll just let more undelivered mail build up

Why would we want the failed revisions reversed? I’m making the most of doing as little as possible while it lasts.

I just applied for a job at OFCOM.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 19:45For f***s sake, either call a strike or the whole f***ing lot of them need to resign. You wouldn't believe what they do. It's a mission to keep the country connected.
I have an open case ongoing with them .
My handler... And that is what they are called.and a reference number, photos , videos and all.
Tells me to keep it secret.... After months and months they say . "Well, what do you expect me to do?"
They could turn up, have a look.
Hope I get the job .
