The cwu haven’t got a clue one minute they’re selling the deal and saying there will be no Royalmail without a deal now it’s we’re not putting the deal out to vote till who knows when. Why would that bother Royalmail as they didn’t want it in the first place according to you. so make your mind up which is it 🤥

There’s also the fact that all the voting papers will have been produced and ready to post
Lot of union expenses being wasted with their delay
These papers will be time sensitive and cannot be used again

My anxiety is the worst it has ever been because of your constant rounds of silence then delays ,excuses excuses it's disgusting .Get the vote out for closure one way or the other.

this is ridiculous
i have not said much on this shite deal because i know the cwu are dealing with complete and utter numpties who could not run a bath
but by cancelling the ballot twice it is making us look like complete and utter numpties
the cwu know it will get rejected
royal mail know it will get rejected but they dont care
100,000 plus members £500 lump sum = 50 million quid in the bank gathering interest why would they care
cwu dont know how to deal with the fall out of a rejected deal so they kick the can down the road

CWU wrote:Which is why we are not putting the ballot out. They cease the executive action or there will be no agreement.
CWU wrote: Without this agreement there is no future for Royal Mail so a vote is absolutely in their interest. The investors, customers and stakeholders have demanded change. The pressure is on them to honour the proposed changes of the agreement. If they commit to them then the vote goes ahead. If they don't - the pressure on them increases.
CWU wrote:This isn’t the case at all. The overwhelming feedback from our local reps was based around the treatment of members on the ground, failed revisions, the destruction of the USO and the lack of trust. On that basis we are putting the challenge to Royal Mail now - sort it or the ballot doesn’t go out to vote. This is something every member should get behind as the current issues need to be sorted then you’ll get your democratic vote.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It’s a crap deal but well done the CWU for taking this stance, no way an agreement can be done with Royal Mail in this kind of environment.

The CWU are being strung along until the mandate to strike runs out. RM made them look weak with this agreement, and is positioning itself for the kill. But Martin Walsh will be along soon with his “13 Reasons Why…” this is actually the CWU bossing RM around.
