Dave Ward put his big boy pants on last week and made his 147th ultimatum during this dispute, this time management have to fully agree to sort the mess that revisions have caused in nearly every office or the ballot might not be put out this week.
Expect a weak as piss non binding token joint statement either tomorrow or Tuesday and the ballot to go ahead, followed by lots of union back slapping propaganda about them pulling Royal Mail management “back in line” or some other nonsense. Meanwhile Royal Mail will plough on with no revisions being reversed/sorted.
Just vote no.
That is very likely to happen. Last thing the Union leaders want is for this deal to fail because they have far too much invested in it.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
I would hope not, last we heard from Ward and Furey was that the company managers needed to change their attitude, since then we have seen offices walk out, folk who are suspended given insane sentences for trumped up charges and Coms refusing to allow some offices overtime to clear the USO. The attacks continue….
There is no sign from the company that they are ready for joint working like it states 75 times in the agreement.
I agree. How can the members be asked to vote on an agreement that one party has already ignored before it is even implemented.
How can you ignore an agreement that has yet to be implemented?
