The guy actually posted a picture meme of a whiteboard saying "Whiteboard for sale" in response to Thompson leaving on the official CWU page on Facebook. Safe to say, the response wasn't well received and has taken the post down this morning. Saying it's unprofessional doesn't even come close. It's real kindergarten behaviour and shows union how completely out of touch they are in how members are feeling at the minute, especially with this deal. Every post makes the union and to an extend us look more pathetic. Find it fascinating that this is probably the most they've posted since the agreement have been made in one period.
Seen that the other morning and cringed so much my face still hurts

What's concerning is a few weeks before the IA started last year a Ltd company was setup with CWU funds and Chris Webb made a director of it.

Not only is he running CWU comms but running this campaign too.

How much of our subs and the head of comms time was taken up over the last year? The address is even same as CWU's.

I've asked for more info on this but have been ignored every time by union, it's almost as if they are trying to hide something.

Nah, to be fair the CWU and Webb have never tried to hide their involvement in that campaign

The question to ask is why is his name affiliated with this campaign group directly if run and funded by the CWU as a group holding?

Will this campaign group, linked to him personally as an individual, be disclosed in the CWU annual accounts to the regulator?

As well as Chris Webb being a director, we have a second director,

Ronan Burtenshaw was a former editor of the Tribune, that is until serious financial issues found it purchased by the Jacobin. (American Owned)
The publication is left of left with supporters such as Jeremy Corbyn and Rebecca Long-Bailey

It's not about hiding involvement, it's why they won't answer the question regarding funding and time spend on the project.

It comes as no surprise that coms has been so bad throughout the dispute when he spent so much time on EiE and also making content for the UCU.

Webb has a cheek to be involved in any 'Enough is Enough' campaign whilst advocating acceptance of a surrender document...
