Don't know why people are under the impression that they'd get the Mon-fri working week if got rid of letters. You'd still be in work regardless, you'd just be doing parcels instead of it.

They trialled it during covid I’m sure with all the parcels we were doing and ended up us cutting off every other day as the workload over the 5 days too much

Well it will not work that way someone will do Saturdays if they like it or not you will have a roster and the mail that does not go out saturday will be done by the people during the week. And 18% job losses and if your very lucky you may not have to do eight Saturdays on the bounce!
