Happy to admit that after the agreement was reached I was planning on voting yes but in the last two weeks my mind has been changed quite drastically to a 100% NO! The company is a horrible place to work. The job is INCREDIBLE but unfortunately for us the people who run it do not have a f**king clue. The revisions & lack of staff due to a ban on employing has ruined our office, morale is dead, people retiring/leaving every week!!!! Madness! The CWU will never have any power to reverse the revisions if we vote yes!!!

NO, NO, NO!
So what has changed your mind 100%.as all you have stated has already been happening.all the no people getting to you on here??.

There is nothing to vote yes to Aiden.
Go on, sell me this deal, tell me the positives, I will listen.

He can’t sell you this deal because he doesn’t work in delivery where all the sacrifices are expected to be made

What are the positives for voting no and allowing Royal Mail to bring in any changes they want, without union involvement? Be the first person to answer that question.

Are there any positives to voting yes

All comes down to principle for many I guess

Regardless of the vote, RM will impose what they want, its happening right now.

A yes vote it just a huge helping hand.

And they wont be back for more in 2025, they will be back for more in months.

The big gig plan..... They have the union by the scrotum

Will not sell the deal to anyone just cannot understand the reasons hawkeye gives..as they have been happening for a long time.so to go from 100% yes to a no is strange but at least 1 other on here has done same.an when i replied to him i was told ( go f**k yourself).so no debating from me.

It's a complete mess, and voting no and going back out on strike will solve nothing, only make the situation much, much worse.

I think we have no choice but to settle and take the lump sum, regroup and live to fight another day.

Live to fight another day , what nonsense ,

If you do not fight Today the CWU is weakened and will remain weakened for evermore .

If you want to accept this pathetic sell out deal vote yes then but do not come out with that regroup and fight another day nonsense .

Now is the time to fight, not in a few weeks/months time, it will be far too late then. :arrrghhh

Of course it will be far too late.

A Yes vote just gets the ball steam rollering in the right direction for them.

VR, IHR, sick terms, later working, 3 walks into 1 revisions and so on.....

They are happy for people leaving as its more newbies on the gig contracts, then future 'deals' will drag closer and closer to the gigs until they are aligned.

They will be back for more real soon if this gets rubber stamped......least its still a job.

The CWU is destroyed if you vote no, and your job is significantly risked. Union leaders are telling you to vote yes, PEC are telling you to vote yes, and you think voting no is supporting the union? Unbelievable.

A no vote is best case scenario for Royal Mail. They don’t give out a pay-rise and it has a lame duck union.

Then without a union they press on regardless and then the job is dead. I suppose I will be labelled as a scaremonger now.

You’re right I don’t have ‘fight’ in me anymore. 18 days of strike action over the busiest part of the year and they hardly budged.

The end of the day it’s just a low paid job now it’s not the job it was 10 years ago. As others have said there is better jobs out there.
