Re: Ballot timetable
I think that's a very real possibility mate!
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)

Re: Ballot timetable
You really think that having put forward a deal and if rejected the company would still hold back on the wage increase and a possible lump sum?
There would be mutiny!
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Re: Ballot timetable
The lump sum and pay increase will be funded by the changes in the agreement. If it’s a no vote none of us really know what will happen next but there will certainly be no immediate pay increase.postslippete wrote: ↑14 May 2023, 10:24You really think that having put forward a deal and if rejected the company would still hold back on the wage increase and a possible lump sum?

Re: Ballot timetable
Fair comment. We wouldn't expect RM to make all the changes they plan on making either. The financial results are due to be published before the ballot papers being released is significantZicomurphy wrote: ↑14 May 2023, 12:07The lump sum and pay increase will be funded by the changes in the agreement. Re: Ballot timetable
Not negative at all, just realistic. I am more positive towards the deal than you seem to be. I am certainly negative at the prospect of a no vote result though, sure, because I understand what that means. Do you?77SAMPOST77 wrote: ↑14 May 2023, 17:20Doom and gloom Lou at it again , always negative .LouBarlow wrote: ↑14 May 2023, 15:04Absolutely. You have no idea what a no vote means Lou so put your negative doom and gloom crystal ball away .LouBarlow wrote: ↑14 May 2023, 18:30Not negative at all, just realistic. My life is very positive. The future of Royal Mail isn’t unfortunately. But I’m sure if we all just wish hard enough and be positive, that will be what turns things around.77SAMPOST77 wrote: ↑15 May 2023, 10:45You have no idea what a no vote means Lou so put your negative doom and gloom crystal ball away .
