Re: Why?
Everything in is agreement we could find a disagreement with thing is this took four months of talks and that is without S tommy bollarks in the talks. So where do we go from here the choice is two.
1 We carry on the fight we last done on Christmas eve and go all out over the top with no pay in the vain hope that this government gives a s**t!
2 We accept a s**t deal which is far from perfect and will probably leave us all over worked change our times and less well off and poorer than two years ago!
We can debate on here till the time comes home but option 1 will not get anymore out of RM and we will be defeated!
Option 2 two is making us poorer but we can fight another battle and possibly gain some of this back in another more favourable time!
Winning a War is not about throwing the whole army at it but how to use your resources at a time and a place and manner favourable for the outcome and not sticking two fingers up and hope for the best.
How you all you vote is your own business for I don't know your position or how all this will affect you it is a Concenences vote it is up to you all to agree how this deal will affect you!

Re: Why?
You said its common sense to accept it so either that was an admittance of accepting the deal or an admittance of a lack of common sense from youk979aaa wrote: ↑13 May 2023, 00:00Accusations without proof need a robust refutment show me the post where I said YES 100% will apologise if you find it never said YES so stop being a child. So where is the YES where do I say yes you have dropped you and your mate Adi right in the pile of Poo so get your facts right!k979aaa wrote: ↑23 Apr 2023, 13:43I think common sense will prevail and most will accept it but you can polish a turd so much it still stinks of s**t!RTP wrote: ↑23 Apr 2023, 13:27There was a big kick off last time when the start and finish times changed and DTD payments for each item were stopped, but the deal was eventually voted in.
Fast forward and a big kick off is happening again. This vote might be as close as brexit, but when enough people finally realise that nothing ever stays the same in life then this deal will be voted in as well.

Re: Why?
What about when your DOM is on your case everyday when you can’t complete 6 hour walks in 4 hours?
Happening in our office.
8 people gone out of a small office in 6 months, and he is still being told to carve out MORE hours.
It is literally insane.

Re: Why?
Have a look at CWU live they say they are in talks with the RM but If none of this changes how can a deal be done in the atmosphere RM needs change at the top and one guy who fell on his vision will not be missed. They need a better leadership with a better vision and a new attitude and make the RM a good place to work again. This whole thing should be built not on platitudes but on the base of good business good service and a happy workforce and not the max renumeration of senior management shareholders and f**k the customer! Times are a changing

Re: Why?
Then you have a s**t manager who doesn’t understand the agreement. Put in a grievance in the usual fashion. This emphasises just why we do need an agreement though. So terrible managers can be held to account.enskied wrote: ↑12 May 2023, 22:25Have you experienced how management invoke the flex agreement.?
Trust me Lou they bring it out like a hammer when they've f****d up.
Last one at ours was the day after a strike.!!
Then there was the one that was forecast two weeks in advance of a strike.
Flex is I ask you if you can. Not that you will when I say.

Re: Why?
That’s what needs to be understood. With no agreement roque managers will continue to interpret thing their own way just to get the job done.LouBarlow wrote: ↑13 May 2023, 05:13Then you have a s**t manager who doesn’t understand the agreement. Personally I don’t see the flex thing as an issue. Let’s be honest with how big the rounds are now anyway 30 minutes won’t make any difference and most managers won’t bother with it.
