Always the case. I used to be proud to work for royal mail. Not any more. How can you be when they tell you to take stuff out knowing you're gonna be bringing it back because the delivery has been made 2 hrs too big. And they're really not bothered as long as you alternate the bits you bring back . I tell the customers exactly how it is, not lying for them. God knows how Thompson can be proud of what he's 'achieved' ?

It's a bit sad the intelligence of Martin Walsh posted this thread as if it's a victory for the union,the agreement still stands and thompson has done his job, royal mail r delighted the pressures off them and now have the main man Williams to finish us off,I remember when Rico left and the mail centre was raucous,today nothing!! Strange that we can't afford sick pay, or a decent pay rise, or maintain decent IHR, and we can't afford decent pensions, and we can't afford decent VRs, but we can afford to pay over a quarter of a million pounds to a notable failure for doing absolutely nothing.

If he had even a shred of decency, he'd donate the lot to the Roland Hill Fund
