I would imagine Edinburgh and rest of Scotland will follow suit shortly
I know the main players in the cwu in and around Edinburgh including a pec member .
I think your assumption will be proved correct.

What a place to the cwu HQ have put themselves in .a massive hole and they keep digging.
We still haven't received any info for the deal to our homes .
no Facebook live or YouTube live .

Luckily I've read the full deal including appendixes 2 times now and it's a definite no from me but I know folks waiting on cwu material to land on there door step before they decide and they haven't read the full document and are very unlikely to either.even these folks are fuming at the way cwu have treated them .

All we seem to get is Dave ward ,Andy fury and Chris Martin talking between themselves .telling themselves how good this deal is ..
Why don't they speak to the actual members .running scared I presume.

If a no vote comes back the only option the cwu have is an all out strike anything else will be laughed at by royal mail the question is how many members will support this the office i work at will not they were on the brink just before xmas of returning to work members arguing with each other, time will tell.

Chris Martin - the bloke from Coldplay?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

If that happens the CWU can say that they will strike when the timing is right. [ie autumn]
If you are a customer of R.M how do you think that would make you feel about continuing to be a customer?
Businesses that use RM for packet and parcel delivery will want certainty that their packets are going to get to their customers on time. They will be mindful of pictures of hundreds of yorks packed with parcels left in car parks subject to the vagaries of the weather and the hunger pangs of rats. Not to mention all the complaints they received from their own customers during these strike periods.
Putting it mildly - it would be very disconcerting and liable to see a percentage of those customers take preemptive action to assure future efficient deliveries by taking their business to a competitor of RM
RM will know this too
Sure it will drive the share price down for Kretinsky to buy cheap - as some would insist has been the plan all along. But he'd be buying lower priced shares of a less valuable company! Not to mention his current shares would be losing value.

Probably have to have another ballot so we can strike around next xmas, one or two days here and there and RM will be putty in our hands

It's all about the customer. For RM the customer isn't Mrs Bloggs waiting for her letters. It's ASOS, Amazon, PRETTY LITTLE THING.

What if the members of the glasgow branch come back with a yes vote will mean nothing.like ive already said members make their own minds up.if you have to rely on your branch telling you how to vote god help us all.im sure the branches rejecting the agreement now probably recommended most of the pec.

It still takes balls for the branch to go against the leadership's recommendations no matter how you think the vote will go

I would be easier for some of them to just ''play the game'' and go along with it
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

It certainly sets the tone for rebellious action and indicates how badly the mood has been judged.

The ballot papers haven't even been sent out yeti. Therefore Glasgow haven't rejected it surely?
Pedantry

The Glasgow branch are recommending their members vote NO when their papers come

That’s what is meant by 'Glasgow'
But people still have their own vote. Just coz Glasgow branch recommended no vote, means nothing, just as CWU nationally recommended yes vote. Again, means nothing. Only thing that counts is individuals opinions and therefore, votes.
