Changed by agreement being the key words

You said they can bring everything they want in without agreement
That is what executive action is. None of the changes of late were ‘agreed’. As long as they operate within employment law they can do a lot more than is in the proposal.

Yes but some things cant be enforced without being agreed - like what I raised

They cannot force us to work two hours a week unpaid this winter to get the time back next summer without an agreement

Executive action cannot enforce that without very very messy dismissals via fire and rehire
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

I am not an expert in law, so won’t speak conclusively on this, but if your original contract states 40 hours for a working week, I see no reason why they couldn’t enforce that. However, I’m not sure which of our previous agreements were torn up when we violated the ‘no industrial action’ policy and whether newer agreements superseded older ones automatically.

The seasonal variation proposal has part timers working for longer this winter though - not just the 'original FT'

Their hours havent been affected by SWW so how can you enforce someone on a 30 hour contract or even the 'new FT' on 35 hours made up from part time for instance to work more than those hours without being paid extra and only getting time back the next year?

Lou has done nothing but make assumptions in every post on this site, then accuses others of not having facts to back up their theories. It’s pretty comical.

I’m pretty sure I’m on 37 hours as a part-timer, yes. My original contract, back in the day was 40.

Also I’m not working in Birmingham. What an odd post.

Sorry, what?

If you were on 40 hours reduced down to 37 with SWW you are full time

How can you say you are a part timer? :confused

37. My first full time contract was 40. I started as a part timer though back in the day. Not in Birmingham though.

Yes I missed a few words out there. Happy to have now clarified the situation. Any more questions? First pet? Mother’s maiden name?
