Prioritising tracked again?
So the casual "packet relief" have not showed up for 2 days, 2 sections are absolutely hammered with tracked piled in front of the mail slots and now we are all being told we can only take tracked today because RM have got new contracts and need to impress them.
But hey, RM and the CWU are adamant that adding 90 minutes to a duty in an area 7 miles away from it is definitely going to work....
Better get out and deliver the 139 trackeds I've just scanned in

Re: Prioritising tracked again?
Well! I’ve never seen anything like this in my nearly 40 years. Bring back working on your own for a start. Today I have so many parcels and redeliveries I can’t fit them all in my Peugeot Partner van. 160 tracked, about 60 non tracked and a whole massive walk added to our already unachievable 2 walks we already have. First things first, I must get them 14 specials done, 3 of which are SG, one for the beginning of the walk and 1 for the last. I’ll drive to them first. Oh I better do the 3 boxes added too.
Then the normal 3 customer collects. All this before letters and just finishing my meal break so just under 4 hours to do it in.
I only do this because I’ve been gaslighted over the years to believe it’s a really good job with really good pay. No I’m not slow either, I ran the marathon last week in 4 hours 34 minutes but this is a complete joke

Re: Prioritising tracked again?
Been the case all bloody week in our place.
Total chaos. Walks left in. We're now so short of staff, we can't take all the packets out.
I've never seen a business run so badly.
It's like the company has been given over to precosious toddlers to run.

Yep same in our office, trays and trays of letters left ,frames full of mail and agency staff come in and just take the tracked parcels ,the whole parliament thing was just a charade ,they are all in it together ,maybe its time to take photos of important mail and get it out in the public domain.

Re: Prioritising tracked again?
Cut off and brought back tracked the other day to be hauled into the office the following morning. “Why have you missed all these tracked?” Because I had to cut off and don’t prioritise them as per ST word. “Oh, well can you prioritise them in future, as we need to make sure the parcels don’t pile up in the office on health and safety grounds”.

Re: Prioritising tracked again?
It's an absolute shambles. We bought some back as we were running over and basically got told on return that all trackeds we take out, we must attempt to deliver. Got yelled at by 3 customers for the next day redelivery thing... Apparently they don't want it and the website doesn't work to let them get it delivered to the post office

Re: Prioritising tracked again?
what is the main reason behind tracked importance, business custom or bonuses?
