Re: Mark Baulch: 'Back this deal, regroup & prepare for future battles'
This is a bad deal.
It does absolutely nothing to address the many concerns that members have about impossible workloads, and unrealistic expectations managers demand from workers.
How many times were union officials told that it wasn't so much the pay rise that was the number one concern, but our terms and conditions, worse now than they have been for years, getting even worse.
As a workforce we are going backwards.
Giving these bastards an inch, in terms of weakening our sick leave entitlement, and it won't be long before they take the mile.
Over the last 25 years, I have been bitterly disappointed by the agreements this union has negotiated after disputes.
Each one leading to a worse job than it was before.
I am not only bitterly disappointed with this one, what have we actually got for all the days we lost pay through striking?
I will shortly be cancelling my subs, and taking my chances for the last few months I have in this awful job, working for this stinking company.
I really do not give a fig if I get sacked by these bastards.
Not now.

I must admit, The agenda for growth, and the 4 Pillars were half decent agreements.DirtyHarry wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 21:11This is a bad deal.

Not an allegation, I was talking about their pension. It's a good retirement fund.
You sound desperate Aiden.

Dave Fraud & Pansy Fury OUT. Sack the gutless free loading PEC clowns. They don't have a plan B because looking at this car crash they never had a plan A. We pay 1% of our wages for these greedy , arrogant tools.

Accountability.
So the company is in dire straights as it has thrown all its money away in dividends and bonuses, this was self-inflicted by those in charge.
They did this for selfish reasons which were not in the best interests of the company.
Whatever else happens the people who have made this decision have to answer for this crime.
