Bullet point number 1. Good old Mick Jeavons the highest paid person in Royal Mail. A full time postie has to work 20 years to earn his yearly wage. 😡

"Royal Mail have made it clear there is no agreement unless they get enough potential money from it to survive."

1, Survive to financially mismanage again?
2, Survive to reward themselves and shareholders at our expense again?

You can be sure the BoD will do both.
If not, they'll pull the plug on any deal.

What minority would that be ?
The ones who are voting no. Might be a small minority, but still a minority.
A small minority...?
What's a large minority?
This deal is fishing for dead carp. 🎏

No such thing as a large minority, that's a majority.
I will admit, I'm not happy with the statement Martin Walsh put out stating..."Royal Mail have made it clear there is no agreement unless they get enough potential money from it to survive."

So there is no such thing as a small minority.
Put it to the democratic vote.

The union and PEC have shown how spineless they are . Not even have the decency to face their own members who pay their ridiculous salaries . This dispute has at least highlighted the CWU = CORRUPT - WORTHLESS - UNDERHANDED for who they really represent . THEMSELVES. This bunch of charlatans are laughing at our expense. They are a fkn disgrace . Ironically our subs have paid then to shaft us . We paid for our own downfall .

Thing is we are told one thing and the next by the CWU they think that this is the best deal they can get for NOW. Thing is change is happening without them and we should accept a deal that did not hold true to the vision that they set out last year? Now we can accept that change happens but we deserve to know why? We voted for action and not a deal which will sell us all short of a better deal just another s**t deal with a gun to our head day again. Time has come that we must all look at ourselves and this so called agreement and pull the pin and let it be on the union or on RM or ourselfs for this is the decision we all have in the coming days/weeks!

There is peril in everything we do in life, sometimes you just have to decide is this the time when we dont roll over and take it.
Maybe this is the time!
If we give in and accept, what is to stop it all happening again and every year we become less and less effectual in the workplace. Its our t&cs and quite frankly if these characters can turn a profitable company into a s**t show why would we trust them to manage anything going forward.
The union is worried about getting ignored and excluded by RM and while its a problem who says they wont just ignore any agreement and do it anyway.
They cant be trusted and with trust goes any chance of anyone but a fool believing anything they say. I dont doubt RM have got themselves in a bind but to hold us to account for it is a bit rich.
We are basically being forced into voting for this with the threats in the background.
I dont like being bullied or threatened into anything so its a NO from me.
As usual its the plebs who pay for the real plebs mistakes!

That’s how I see it too, we will soon no doubt be told a no vote will effectively render the union powerless in the future with no place at the negotiating table. So it will be a choice between voting yes for the s**t show deal or vote no and have changes brought in by EA and then no pay rise at all to save the company more money! Ohh the agony of choice
