Re: My reasons for voting yes
Tell us which part of our working day is going to better with this deal, because I can't see a single thing that will make my working day better.

How about you will actually have a working day because you have a job still. Is that better? Or did you not read any of it?

If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Re: My reasons for voting yes
Don't worry Martin.... this will be a clear YES vote even if it doesn't sound like it coming from people's concerns in here.
It's clear to me that it's up to the workers if they want to stay here now. Some may leave imminently, some may leave when a lot of this change is implemented, some will realise there's no future here.
You may have reduced these changes now, but when will they want to push start times back further, reduce sick pay further, make us walk further...
The future is bleak. I will vote yes and I expect a yes vote, but this isn't a company worth staying at longer term.

So here it is, the solution is a lot more simple than we all thought.Boltonian-White wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 13:49How about you will actually have a working day because you have a job still. Is that better? Or did you not read any of it?
Just be thankful you still have a job.
No need for all that flannel you are still employed "Praise Be"!!
Look there's no way i can vote for this no matter how the union and RM spin it, once the union cave to this the war is over and RM can just use the same recipe again to get everything they want. And they will!!
But regardless of what i think its a democracy we live in (Although i do wonder) and you are entitled to vote whatever way you choose without influence by anybody. Look at the agreement and vote whichever way suits you best and whatever way it fall's we will have to live with the result.

Re: My reasons for voting yes
Oh please stop talking like this can be allowed to happen. OP, stop spouting BS and get back to Dave Ward and tell him to do his bleeding job. We're still doing ours and we are not going to accept being punished for it, which we would be if the stuff in this deal were allowed to go ahead.
This isn't about resisting change, when someone proposes a change that makes things better for me then I'm all for it, these are all changes that are worse for everyone, particularly parents in delivery.
OP, that is beyond weak and if you can't fight for this union's membership can you just stop trying to skew people's common sense, jog on out of the way and let someone who can.

No money? Where’s the war chest gone? RM and cwu think we’re 2 naive to realise where this goes next. Clearly they can’t run a company so what odds if it goes tits up now or in 18 months?. It’s a no from me and what I would like from some of these cwu reps is some clarity on whether we should be continuing to pay into a pension?

100% agree. Martin Walsh could have posted proof of their financial situation & they still would be spewing all that boll*cks.Belgium wrote: ↑28 Apr 2023, 11:21This Forum now just seems a place for anti union propaganda and people wanting to see the business go down the drain along with 125,000 jobs
any discussion that does not involve voting no or slagging the union off is met with disdain and sometimes abuse, yet none of these people can come up with a credible alternative, most of them say they are not bothered if the company goes to the wall as there are plenty of better jobs out there and yet here they still are clinging on to the bitter end when they could be enjoying those so called better jobs
