Remove the enemy within the cwu.
What exactly would you replace "the enemy within" with?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Name them.
How can we vote for them if we don't know who they are.

That's exactly what it sounds like to me and the issue is royal mail can play that card over and over again.

They should be supporting us so that we are all in it together. Not preserving their status and privileges as reps, divisional, branch or otherwise
He had one job to destroy the union, but he also had several others to divide and conquer the workforce. Si has set out tasks going down the EA route and has successfully done as much as he could without ripping out our current agreements.

If you think he cares about the company or the people its unfortunate he doesn't. Si got his pay packet plus the rest and will be gone once this deal is done. I personally don't think he wants to be investigated by the regulator by what's been going on over the past several months and will try and avoid going back to parliament.

Si is no leader and when he's gone, so will his so called Team.

For a start, stop the cronyism/corruption and jobs for the boys such as unopposed elections. Then we have the PEC stuffed with NEC members, so nodding dogs and a rubber stamp job with the will of the Executive. Hardly independent, holding the Executive to account with policy decisions? Bought and paid for more like.

You know them by their words. Then you watch to see if their actions match their words.

Hate to say it but Thompson has achieved everything he set out to do, all changes implemented by EA, he has he union split in two, he appears to have backed them into a corner with the threats of stopping senior reps paid release and stopping subs coming direct out of our wages (both of which are magically now not happening) and before anyone defends this by saying it’s self preservation, the unions role is to protect and fight for its members rights not their personal interests. As hated as he may be, well played mr Thompson, mission accomplished
Do you have a link to this? Is there some written documentation?

We need a whistle-blower to step forward and release internal documents - it would be explosive

Release to SWP - I wouldn't trust the Labour Party or The Guardian as they are too cosy with the trade union movement, maybe a specific journalist - a modern day Pilger maybe

In every dispute I have known Royal mail have targeted full time release and check off.
Attacking full time release is self defeating because they benefit from the current set up and check off is an irrelevance.

Release shocking documents to the SWP?
Laughable.

should be released somewhere, if they exist they need to be out in the open - you say it is routine tactic of R.M - but for me and for many others it is shocking - a proof of collusion to our detriment when tied in with capitulation on T&C

No there is no written proof, the senior rep was quite resigned to the fact it was going to happen then all of a sudden, nothing. And we are now looking at an agreement that just a few months ago Andy furey was calling a surrender document, every facet of this agreement goes back on everything people sacrificed money for. There is no logical explanation for the CWU to be accepting this? I’ve heard the company is 3 weeks from going bust BS, but if this goes through I can guarantee the company will be making money for shareholders before Xmas
