Up to the members now, do you want to keep your job with the new conditions and pay or risk loosing it.
I don't even blooming want it much anymore, never mind risking losing it. I'll keep some dignity at least though and will not be supporting this.

The union is supposed to be representing us, the members. They are failing and it's unacceptable. We do not need perspective, we need representation. We are refusing this annihilation of our terms and conditions. Do your job union, pay attention to the mandate you were given and the prevailing attitude of the workforce and continue to fight this farce.

What posties should remember though is that everyone moans about the company but it is however still a VERY GOOD employer re annual leave entitlement, pension, bonuses and allowances. None of which are available to other courier companies or indeed the public sector where I now work….

The keeping of all allowances is clearly a positive.

6% is around avg. for the private sector.

Take the 6% + bonus and re-group for the next pay round!

I joined the day because I am happy and content with the deal.
What's your excuse ?

If you read my three posts you might have noticed I am very pro union, and anti stupid people who are looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Vote yes to accept what I think is a good deal, considering we have all endured hardship and financial suffering for over a year.

We are lucky to still have jobs considering the strike action has cost the company £200M, and we are losing public support in the middle of a deep recession and food prices at 17.2 inflation.

A no vote is committing suicide in my opinion. :Boo hoo!

Wise up. :no no

If the deal was as good as you think it is, you wouldnt need to be on here trying to convince everyone to vote YES

Maybe have some reflection on why you have resorted to signing up on here and posting as you have

The strike action cost nothing because the work was done regardless and on those days wages weren’t payed. If anything Royal Mail made money on strike days

Read the room, this is getting a massive NO rejection, not a chance this is voted in and you can quote me on that.

A sad day in Union history.

Yea great, I'll vote to get shafted as delivery postman of 28 years who gets no allowances so all the mail centre workers can keep their allowances , plus the one person still getting the postbus allowance and not have to have seasonal hours and the rest that is squarely aimed at deliveries. No thanks , I'd sooner vote no and if the company goes under so be it.
The union should have just called the strikes off and saved us all the lost money if they was going to give in like they have. At least it would have been honest

Succinctly>

We are working harder and longer for less money (inflation adjusted - approx 15% less in March 2025 than March 2022)

We are working harder with more walking expected.

Unions came into existence to improve the working conditions of workers.

This agreement offers no such thing. It should be anathema to any self respecting union.

If there had never been a dispute and today it was announced that our sick policy and pay would be changed for the worse, our finishing times would be at least an hour later and potentially 90 minutes later, we would be working for longer in the winter and get the time back next summer, we can be made to flex up 30 minutes, we can be performance managed on the PDAS and new starters would be on worse terms and conditions but in return we would get a below inflation payrise of just 6% for the year and a small lump sum

Would this be exclaimed as a good deal by us?!

It would be grounds for balloting for industrial action in itself!

Theres some perspective
