Working together to get Union funds seaquestrated.
The best way to close a union down is if we can work together with a course of action that will ensure the Government will be legally justified in seaquestrating a trade union's funds and assets.
Withdrawing subs en masse is a decent start, but would not close down a trade union in and of itself, they have vast funds and assets that will need to be seized by the Government via "Seaquestration of funds"
We can achieve this by working together to force courses of action that will lead to a seaquestration of funds.

Vote with your wallet, withdraw subs - it's the only way to stand against people who do not have our best interests at heart (CWU)

Are you suggesting we have no Union representation at all? Then we will be well and truly stuffed. I for one will not be voting for the agreement, that doesn't mean I am anti CWU!2chorizon wrote: ↑21 Apr 2023, 15:01The best way to close a union down is if we can work together with a course of action that will ensure the Government will be legally justified in seaquestrating a trade union's funds and assets.

Why on earth would you want to get rid of the union, we are not an essential service which is why the strikes didn't work, I had 50 trays of letters by my frame after Christmas no one was bothered

Nobody with half a brain wants no CWU
What most of us do want is better representation within it
Terry was a huge loss

If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

one thing that has utterly pissed me off this dispute is the strike fund. wtf has happened to it. cwu refuse to answer any questions on it on twitter and i know people who need it getting declined. needs to be more transparent. it feels like the cwu has begged the public for strike fund and then done bugger all with it

The CWU isn't a very big union compared to Unison or Unite and that is why they say that they don't really have a strike fund.
The CWU has dues of nearly £29 million but a huge chunk of that money goes on CWU officials including General Secretary Dave Ward’s salary package of £143k.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Yeah, they are having a big food ‘n drink jolly right now on our sub’s. Patting themselves on the back / “we told them the wealth would trickle down” etc
Vote “No” en-masse and engineer / pull them around into a course of strike action that will see their funds & assets seaquestrated by UKGOV
Let’s finish the game……

Away from the strikes the union has been very helpful to me, when the management would have just seen e as collateral damage. I'd never want to be without one.
I'm turning purple!

Are you real?
You, and all the other crazy people (and that's being kind) out there will f**k us up good style. Do you not realise we have an anti trade union Conservative Government in charge?
With your actions, We'll be in the Gig economy in no time.
