OUR PENSION AND THE SPANISH IMPOSITION

Post by k979aaa »

For adam crozier is well versed in his spanish practice's like the phony consultation and the pension's black hole smoke screen for one moment it is £1.5 billion and then £6 billion and then £5 billion!. for who really know's the true figure for adam and his buddie's have cooked the book's so often they look like paella on a plate!. Now we must ask all ourself's this question are we just going to stand by and say all is lost, and work five year's longer and have our pension raped by royalmail just so they can post a one billion pound profit next year!. Or shall we fight this spanish imposition till the bitter end! FOR IT WAS PROMISED TO US ALL WHEN WE STARTED THIS JOB THAT WE GET A FINNAL SALARY PENSION AT THE END OF OUR WORKING LIFE!. AND I WILL NOT ACCEPT PAELLA INSTEAD OF OUR PENSION!.

For i admire your courage fortitude my friend :Applause . But i fear this is only a consultation ballot and will be open to fraud by the management stooge's, And the apathetic P.O.V.F's will no doubt not give two hoot's!. FOR WHY IN GOD'S NAME DO WE NOT GET OUR SAY IN A NATIONAL BALLOT NOW! FOR NOW IS THE TIME FOR OUR SAY IN OUR PENSION NOW!.

If that was the case there wouldn't have been a consultation it would have been a ballot.

FOR I WILL TELL YOU WHY IT WAS AT THE BEHEST OF GORDON BROWN "I WANT THESE PEOPLE BACK TO WORK " FOR THIS IS THE VERY SAME MAN WHO IS TAKEING OUR PENSION AWAY FROM US ALL!.

Pensions should have never been de-coupled from the Pay and Modernation Agreement, I feel that we have been shafted. My worst fear is that the senior posties will be prepared to fight for the pensions whilst the younger posties are not really concerned about pensions. I try my best to explain to the younger posties about their pensions because alot do not understand what is going on.

The 2007 pay and moderization agreement was just a FUDGE for it has only bought us barley 5 month's of peace in our time!. It was the begining of the phony war and now that time is comeing to an end, and we now see before us the biggest battle of our working live's!. IT IS NOW THE TIME FOR US ALL TO DIG IN FOR WE SHOULD ACCEPT NOTHING LESS THAN TOTAL VICTORY!. FOR THIS IS OUR TIME NAY!. OUR FUTURE AFTER A LIFE OF HARD GRAFT !. PREPARE FOR WAR!.

I think the cwu threw away any chance of stopping these pension changes when they signed this deal. Even pro union guys in my office feel let down by our leadership. Yes they will vote to reject the pension changes but any further action it will be a no vote. To many younger staff just don't care or only worry about paying the next bill.

We'll be counted alright, if it ever gets to a ballot - and you may be surprised at the outcome. :cry

ROYALMAIL WE CANNOT AFFORD IT

Post by k979aaa »

So they say in the courier (the sh*t rag) quote "pensions are set to cost the company an estimated £850 million this financial year alone -or 30% of pensionable payroll, including 10% to cover the deficit. Most of our competitors make contributions of less than 9%." So when royalmail took a pension holiday did most of their competitors and did they mismanage their pension fund's?. No i do not think so for it is at the very least disingenuous of Dinesh Visavadia roylmail's head of retirement strategy make note of his name for we will be hearing alot about him in the near future!. FOR THIS IS NOT OF OUR DOING BUT ROYALMAIL'S OWN FAULT WHY SHOULD WE MAKE THE SACRIFICE FOR THEIR FAILURE!. IT IS OUR PENSION NOT THEIR'S LET US ALL FIGHT FOR IT NOW!.
