The union are to blame for accepting the deal .
I dont think walking the streets for more than 3.5 hours is going to do any1 any good. 3.5 is tiring enough.

I can walk over forty miles in a day, see no need for a 3.5 limit and suggest that anyone finding 3.5 to be "tiring enough" should consider taking an office or retail job.

The fact that I can walk forty miles a day, and very occasionally do with good reason, does not mean I've not got a life outside of delivering letters. You like you say it's "up to the individual" when it suits you in a pathetic bid to defend using your own car and then slag others off with "get on with the job and shut your mouths" when you're losing the argument.

i was sayng that the walks are only ment to be 3.5 . its nationally agreed. if u want to do more you can take a bag off someone else who dosnt. oh but you will have to soon anyway with summer lapsing.

What are you in training for??40 miles per day is a fair bit? If walked 40 miles per day with the mail we carry i would not like to see our backs and our bones in the near future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plenty of people could mayb walk 40 miles in 1 day , but could you do it every day with mail on your back??? ummm

I wouldn't place a limit on deliveries, that's for agreement between management and the CWU.

And thats just what we have an agreement to stick to a 3.5hr limit. If your over 50 or have medical needs covered under the D.D.A. then managment have to adjust the walk or time to your needs. NOT TELL YOU TO GET ANOTHER JOB IN RETAIL OR IN AN OFFICE.
