I'm done with all of this. Just put it to a vote and hopefully we can sleep at night knowing what all our futures look like. Sick of having this anxiety.

Complete done with this company, if it's put to a vote which think is the right thing then great. But, not gonna stick around and constantly be on the edge from being in debt with strikes or these clowns working you do death for little gratitude.

If royal mail get away with this rubbish deal that is not the end of it .
constant revisions will be made on a daily basis ,
constant eroding of terms and conditions on a daily basis ,
how will that help you sleep at night not knowing what changes are there for you the next working day .

Re: Talks have ended - no agreement
I've made the decision to leave because there is never going to be a deal on the table I could vote for, and as much as it would be tempting to stick around to vote down any deal just for the sake of it, it wouldn't be fair on those people who just want to grimly hang on and quietly die in a corner. Judging by the revisions going on where I work, that's the only alternative you've got left.

Let the people who want to go on whatever terms go and those who want to stay put up with whatever s**t happens it’s now a personal choice job or no job if union worrried about members put the subs up and again it’s people’s choice to be a member or not new entrants that have started in the last year obviously aren’t to bothered about there terms of employment else they wouldn’t sign there contract they might not want to be in for life just a few years and move on

The Sad truth is that no matter what deal eventually gets voted in, the above scenario will happen anyway, Its a company for profit nowadays run for the shareholders, the future is cost cutting and job losses77SAMPOST77 wrote: ↑05 Apr 2023, 11:45If royal mail get away with this rubbish deal that is not the end of it .

Levelled up contracts over 5 years mean all of us would have 5 years max in this job before we are levelled up.
Make no mistake any deal that involves people coming in on lesser terms mean lesser terms for all of us within time. Regardless of what shiny baubles the board try to entice you with.
We will be conducted out the door for the slightest mistake and replaced by someone to be levelled up with.

Re: Talks have ended - no agreement
How can they pay 1500 out to everybody? They've got no money and are on the verge of admin?
