It is obvious the negotiations are not going to plan and more now about how to sell it to the members.
How different the language being used is different from the start with Win the Ballot win the dispute and no strings?

Totally disagree, it’s very clear that the union are making progress on moving the company on many issues and ultimately closer to a deal that it can present to the PEC and then us. if the union where not confident of being close then we would have used the mandate by now for more IA. Am sure when it does get announced there will be parts of it most of us won’t like, but am fairly sure it will be far better than what the company want ‘their business to run’ rember.

We were told on it will be done by the 12th Sunday a few weeks back, 1 month on and still not concluded. Can see why ppl are not happy.
No doubt we will get an update this wk saying progress has been made, but need to continue the talks.

They are all planning the easter holidays. I doubt there's much motivation to get it done just yet, since both parties seem keen on this new silent approach

We got told off the manager today that we a nowhere near a deal. The sticking points are all reps to be reinstated, Royal mail won't budge and the pay offer. Which is stuck 9n the last Best and final offer. Make of that what you will
