I have a 5 hour duty on a Saturday (1 hour 15 minutes less than during the week), but every single Saturday is as heavy as if not heavier than a Friday. It is the increase in DSA which has caused this, most of what comes in from TNT etc is mail that used to be mailsort and would be left for Monday. I used to refer to this as the mailsort con, RM agreed to earlier Saturday finishes, no mailsort to be taken etc, but knowing full well that we were going to be inundated with DSA which we must deliver. Al and Adam saw us walking straight into this and must of laughed their socks off.

You have my sympathy - normally I do 7 - 9 bags today only 2 :Very Happy  - perhaps the high winds round here kept the wagons at the MC and we will be creamed on Monday . :pray Hope not.

It's only family friendly because they think that if your family DON'T see you then that's friendly :whistle (well they don't see their families at the weekend with all the drinking and golf and other women or men  and it's friendly :d'oh! )

Terrible day today with seven bags, but at least it stayed dry. Booked 2 hours extended as our finishing time should be 11:45 and even went past that estimate by 5 minutes but had a break included. Passed by the usual early starters who finished before their time and didn't get any docket. I took everything because I'm off on monday and the day off cover is a decent bloke. (Hope he reads this and remembers it when the council tax hits him on monday lol). Fell out of bed an hour ago to the news that my team are playing crap again and am now looking forward to an evening of Enchilladas and chilled Stella with a selection of the finest soul music from Mary Fox on BBC radio Stoke in front of an open fire - Have a good weekend boys and girls - most of you deserve it :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy

We voted for early Saturdays.
Mail is getting horrendous on Saturdays (all done on purpose i reckon) we get all sorts of s**t now.
Last arrival was late today by 30 mins so we only carried on and claimed because it was mothers day tomorrow otherwise we would have cut off!!
All town areas had every house with pissin, Subway, first class crap that were what we reckon two or three days late for delivery!!!
You tell me!
