If you've got 25 SDs for around town there is no efficient way no matter what you do,the majority of duty get three or four tops on most days.

Re: Changing start and finish time
What if your partner/kids now work from home and your house is effectively an office during the day?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

There's a Network Review in the Autumn, your guess is as good as mine as to what affect it'll have on arrival times into inward MCs. My gut feeling is that in many cases arrival times will be later, having a knock-on affect on dispatch times to DOscows777 wrote: ↑02 Apr 2023, 09:01Yes according to reports its happening from the 1st of September!!Clappedoutpostie wrote: ↑01 Apr 2023, 17:22Isn’t it September when they are really going to hit us with later start times.![]()

Yes and the people who WANT to work that shift will pick a rural in a resign
We have hybrid duties that start and finish later too - but they are chosen not allocated
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Re: Changing start and finish time
It’s inevitable I’m afraid and it will soon be starting at 8 most days, maybe it will be phased in but we have 3 new recruits and 2 agency guys who do 9-3 which they are very happy with, they also do ot if can until regularly 6 o’clock, let’s face it we are changing it’s just a matter of time, if people don’t like it they will probably just say leave as they clearly don’t want long term staff anymore
