No more strikes?

Post by Surfpostie »

I heard today from a good source, that there will be no more strikes. The only sticking point are the issues regarding the reps. Personally that issue needs sorting before we sign up to any agreement. I know from reading posts on here that not everyone agrees with me. Martin Walsh, any news mate? Sounds like nearly there at last

On what no deal is no deal good if you can get back pay but the firm is bust by all accounts. And I believe them £567 MILLION goes along way when running a business but they f****d it up. Our business to ruin and they did that with all your futures and lives sorry to say that but we are all in the same boat and this ship is sinking!

Any deal without back pay is almost a dead cert to get rejected, the union can do one if they think we'll accept any deal that doesn't have back pay

Any deal would get accepted.. even if it killed the union, thats the problem

Currently it's still a good job. If it no longer fits childcare needs other jobs do. Not the employers problem. Most would vote in a deal to try end the toxic atmosphere. If the job isn't what you wanted in 1970 go find something that fits yours needs now. Simples

I generally agree with you thing is higher stakes how will you get back pay as they say they are s**t busted flush? This dispute is not about the past but our futures and the more we can gain in terms and conditions. Back pay is the least of our worries it's the train of change coming along the line we all need some certainty about this. We need an agreement to shape the business/service we cannot do that without some sort of agreement we all want to work and earn money and make this service great again but the attitude at the top and the bonus culture needs to be eradicated!

Remember full timers are due at least £1800 @ 9% backdated without 1 minute overtime when some last year got over £140,000 so without that it's a no from me and I hope alot more would agree I'd reckon I'm owed over 3500

Calculation of the sum of 0% is nothing who said we are getting any pay rise?
