If you said it’s raining I’d stick my head out the window to double check.

Re: Some progress has been made.
For my own sanity I’m going to log off here for a few weeks and stop looking for updates on the CWU Facebook page. Next Friday is Easter which means management/the board/Dave Ward etc etc will all be off on an extended 2 week break probably on Tuesday. No way are we getting any sort of real resolution to this before the back end of April. Sick of it all anyway it’s bloody draining.

Either the biscuits would have to be in a Tracked 24 box to ensure they were delivered ... or maybe they are using a different courier?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

exactly. This vagueness is just pixxing people off big time.enskied wrote: ↑31 Mar 2023, 18:30Some progress has been made on what ?
If you are going to update us on something, tell us what it is.
So what progress has been made and where?
You don't have to go in to detail.
Progress has been made on : start times , on sick pay, on wherever progress has been made. Just a clue

The longer this goes on the more people will be p*ssed off, and the more the CWU will lose membership, so it’s up to them!!

i honestly think Thompson is STILL calling the shots here. they said he was out of the talks a few weeks back and new people were taking over, it was supposed to be a 'different approach' a new fresh outlook that would bring results. yet here we are a month later and we are still getting this s**t...back and forth on this and that. they must be taking EVERYTHING back to that bloke for him to chuck it out. if he's not involved why keep him on? whats his purpose for being in charge?

Not much solidarity on here blimey, would you lot rather the CWU just accept eviroyal mail wants or keep fighting on our behalf? I know which one I prefer, regardless of how long it takes.

We are getting screwed. You literally got Ricky telling you yesterday the only way forward is to accept the terms they've brought in but these dummies still saying progress has been made. There is no way anyone can defend this now.

It's illegal to carry one plank down a street.
He's as thick as two .
Thompson will take the s**t for his pay off.
His reputation is screwed already, it's all about the money in his back pocket now.
