Re: All revisions live next week
Are started 2 weeks ago, absolute s**t show, near impossible to complete, people bringing whole walks back, to have any chance of completing, you would have to get out of the office prior to 9am, have no d2ds and a very light Monday.

Ours also starts next week. Im not sure it will go too well. Literally adding 50%+ to most walks.

'All revisions' meaning at offices that haven't yet had theirs implemented?guardianangel wrote: ↑30 Mar 2023, 17:36Heard today all revisions to go live next week ,ours is has anyone else been told, that went well then.
Well this is going to be ridiculous.....
What's the point in union reps anymore if they aren't stopping this!

Re: All revisions live next week
Royal Mail want them all in place by the end of THIS financial year. So yes, I would guess all but a few stragglers go live on Monday.
Ours hasn't yet. How many have?

why are you all concerned ? work to your time , do the job properly and leave the worrying to the managers who are paid to worry !

What do you want reps to do? Lock the doors?norris9 wrote: ↑30 Mar 2023, 17:49'All revisions' meaning at offices that haven't yet had theirs implemented?guardianangel wrote: ↑30 Mar 2023, 17:36Heard today all revisions to go live next week ,ours is has anyone else been told, that went well then.

Once it's gone to stage 3 disagreement there's nothing left they can legally do, short of local strikes which would disrupt, but not stop.

Re: All revisions live next week
The managers know it won't work. In the most part they are with us on this. If your already going over on the whole as a unit then it stands to reason you'll go even more over or fail mail. That is the whole point. Unfortunately for us the board want us to fail. They want to be able to go to government and say we can't sustain this and reduce the uso. Its a deliberate sabotage.

Our manager wants it but we are blocking it best we can just so he misses out on the bonus. We know we will be doing less work when it is brought in so happy to see it fail just want him to miss out on the cash because he’s acting a c***.

One office did some, then had to put it all back a few days later. Anther did it over a moth ago.
I'm turning purple!

Yep. Everyone learn this script off by heart: " I'm finishing on time today, so afraid I'll have to bring stuff back if I run out time".
Manager: "bully bully it's not too heavy today blah blah"
You, after listening politely: "ok fair enough. But I will still be finishing on time and bringing stuff back if I run out of time".
Ends.

One section has had theirs in ours, the one I'm on at the minute hasn't but the mech has been running as though it has, so whoever is prepping the walks that are going has to get their mail from the backs of everyone else's mech, in a different order to the frame

They don't want a deal or the burden, as they see it, of Royal mail. Its all about gls. Its just a shame Royal mail bought it. Might be still a public service if not.

Re: All revisions live next week
Majority of our duties have at least an hour added, some 2+. Unsurprisingly, those in the managers clique didn't get anything so are comfortably clearing every day. The rest of the office is an embarrassment. It's insane to think back to the minor infringements that got people reprimanded/sacked. Embrace quiet quitting.
