Re: Callers Offices/Enquiry Offices to be closed down in January.
Our office introduced door-stepping before Xmas. Presumably laying the groundwork for closing callers. The only things I bring back now are signed-for and specials. Wouldn't surprise me if we go back to XP1'ing them (seemed to work during peak COVID).

I never stopped XP1’ng. Covid is still an issue.

We didn’t get told that.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:06We got told to sign it DWS if either us or the recipient wasn't happy with handing the PDA over, presume that still stands.

I've done a search of posts on here and found this from march last year that relates to it, don't know if it still stands or what as we don't get told anything about anything these days.Barnacle wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:13We didn’t get told that.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:06We got told to sign it DWS if either us or the recipient wasn't happy with handing the PDA over, presume that still stands.

They (management at our office), simply said Covid rules were now over and it was back to customer signing. I decided myself to ignore that and continue signing XP1.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 21:22I've done a search of posts on here and found this from march last year that relates to it, don't know if it still stands or what as we don't get told anything about anything these days.Barnacle wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:13We didn’t get told that.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:06We got told to sign it DWS if either us or the recipient wasn't happy with handing the PDA over, presume that still stands.
The lack of communication from them to us drones is incredible.

So how are customers supposed to collect their po box mail if a csp is permanently closed?General Mannerheim wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 17:56It's a disgrace, one of the office brownnosers who is well in,said the managers had a conference call on Saturday and was told that ours was closing, we was told this might happen just before xmas, but as we are a large office there would be a good chance of us staying open 2 hours in morning to give out p.o boxes and Br's to customers and 2 hours in afternoon for PPI shite etc, but it's going altogether now
, but the gutless twats havn't said anything so it could all be bullshit, still it's nice to be kept in the loop.

Plus, closing the Caller’s Offices, closes off the never exploited opportunity to sell products in the waiting area that most have.greengiant wrote: ↑17 Jan 2023, 11:30So how are customers supposed to collect their po box mail if a csp is permanently closed?General Mannerheim wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 17:56It's a disgrace, one of the office brownnosers who is well in,said the managers had a conference call on Saturday and was told that ours was closing, we was told this might happen just before xmas, but as we are a large office there would be a good chance of us staying open 2 hours in morning to give out p.o boxes and Br's to customers and 2 hours in afternoon for PPI shite etc, but it's going altogether now

I actually replied to her. She tried saying the postman was lazy because he didn’t deliver to her neighbour.
I have to say that is bad though and I can see it happen a lot very soon.

Why should a neighbour be responsible for the parcel SHE ordered??? If I don't have time - (I know I'm only just going to get a break and get back to the office on time, and I don't want the overtime) I don't try neighbours!
