Bang on. The the fact that you get some weird kick out of messing with peoples heads tells me that you should probably think about getting some sort of help. You remind me very much of 2yr Postie actually. Different angle, same agenda. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was one person with multiple accounts, holed up in a box room at your parents. Some middle aged loner with very little going on in life…Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑28 Mar 2023, 17:50Only on your terms Len?
You're neither civil nor balanced, you have an agenda and like a juvenile you backtrack, muddy the waters and then cry foul when you're caught out making things up.
There is enough for members to be stressed about in the reality of the situation without you coming on here to induce more anxiety ike a psychopathic child poking a dying animal with a stick.

Unproductive, lazy, incompetent, and expensive managerial / admin levels in Royal Mail will be first out the door if Royal Mail fails, rightly so.
May explain why some of these people are so worried about strikes, even going as far as trolling and lying on postal worker message boards.
They literally owe their livelihood to the ability and graft of posties.

That was just another empty slogan from the union. Brothers in arms. Solidarity…..
That’s why I had no problem being a strike breaker. Everyone is in it for themselves and by not being a union member I don’t have to follow the slogans and empty sound bites.
I will admit I’m here earning money for myself. It’s just funny that people that labelled me selfish and shameful are now hoping the company burns to the ground.

"Everyone is in it for themselves"to a certain degree but at some point you need numbers thats the whole point of strength in numbers.FilthyBloke wrote: ↑28 Mar 2023, 18:08That was just another empty slogan from the union. Brothers in arms. Solidarity…..

Oh do behave. What has got us into this mess by a measure of about 80% is the board and our hapless "senior leadership". Mr Thompson is nothing more than an out of depth salesperson who had never run a company before Royal Mail - unless you want to count the Track & Trace debacle. He is somebody's useful idiot; we just haven't found out yet who he belongs to. Remember, respect is earned not demanded and Mr Thompson has done absolutely nothing to earn my respect. True leaders inspire people and understand how to motivate their staff so that they continually go the extra mile for them. I've had the pleasure to work for a few - and I can assure you, Mr Thompson is orders of magnitude away from such people.redlen wrote: ↑28 Mar 2023, 14:58Yet again calling the CEO of the company you work for and Boss "Slyman" shows the contempt its unionised workers have for their employer. This juvenile rhetoric is what has got us into this position.
That includes the CWU director of communications Chriss Webb after his stunt in Parliament.
Whilst I accept the union has been far from perfect, their unprofessionalism pales into insignificance when we look at our current CEO and how he has steered his rock steady course towards the metaphorical iceberg dead ahead whilst watching it loom ever larger. He is Royal Mail's very own Captain Smith. He has surrounded himself by a bunch of people who are either too star-struck, stupid, frightened or myopic to challenge him. I and many other junior staff have challenged him politely and intelligently, directly on his own social media platform. That he runs away from such challenges without uttering a single word speaks volumes.
For what its worth, If we go into administration I can hold my head up and say I tried. What I wonder will be your Royal Mail epitaph and more entertainingly, what will be Mr Thompsons?
